Trust the process

I. Book the date.

Firstly, enquire about your date using the contact form on the website, this filters your enquiry into my booking system and ensures it gets seen ASAP!

I'll get back to you with availability and quotes depending on your needs and we can schedule a video chat to go over everything on the day.

Once you're totally happy you can book your date by paying a deposit and relax!

II. The Big Day

Six weeks before your date you'll get your questionnaire to fill in with timings, precise locations, groups and anything else you would like to cover. The we can schedule a catch-up video chat if you would like to make sure you're 100% happy with how the day is structured and where I'll be.

This means on the day itself your only job is to relax safe in the knowledge it's all being recorded for you to relive whenever you wish!

III. Deliver memories.

My clients all get a sneak preview of their wedding a few days after the event, because I feel that it's important to have those hero shots to share as soon as possible and get excited about for the full gallery. You can look over them on honeymoon, update your socials or design some Thank-you cards before you even get back!

Up to six weeks afterward you'll receive your full, passworded online gallery, with full and web-res downloads for yourselves and a beautiful slideshow to share as well.

Group Shots

As a rough guide I usually suggest couples allow around 5 minutes per group combo. To help with this, make a list of group

shots on the questionnaire I'll send you. Schedule group shots directly after your ceremony or directly before dinner, it’s much easier to round people up when they are all standing in one place, having just watched you exit your ceremony or waiting to go into dinner. Most of my couples book me for my documentary approach to photographing their wedding, you probably don’t want to be standing around for ages having formal photographs and the ways I work on the day mean I can get the most out of them in a brief time so you can get back to being congratulated!

Lastly remember I’m with you guys all day so there’ll be lots of oppertunities for all sorts of pictures so don’t worry!

FAQ

When can we expect you on the wedding day?

I usually arrive with plenty of time before the wedding, to have a look around, shoot any details and meet you and your family. I’m based in Derbyshire and tend to concentrate most of my work to the Midlands, but I do travel throughout the UK to cover weddings which is easy from my central location! Venues in Scotland require a two night stay which would be an extra £100.

How does the payment process work?

When you book me, upon signing the contract, you are required to pay the booking deposit, this secures your date. The rest of the payment can be done any time before the wedding, up to 30 days before the wedding. Accepted are BACS, cheque and Paypal.

What equipment do you use?

I use Nikon pro-level gear, I always have multiple camera bodies, a number of lenses, and more memory cards than I need at all weddings. I also carry flashes and a few tried and trusted little pieces of kit for creative portraits.

Are you insured?

Yes! I do this full time and am covered by public liability and public indemnity insurance for your peace of mind.

When do we get our photographs?

It takes us up to 6 weeks to get your photographs ready and edited. The last thing I would want to do is rush over your wedding, just to get it done earlier, so delivery dates change depending on low / high season. If for whatever reason, you need your photographs sooner, do let me know and I will see if it is possible.

I hear you’ve won some awards?

I’ve been super lucky in my career to win a few, in all different fields of photography. Although it’s my lovely couples that drive and motivate me, I’m pretty proud to say I worked darn hard for them! Hopefully the list will continue to grow.

How do we get our photographs?

Your edited final pictures will already be sized and ready to be downloaded, shared or even better, printed! I have a print shop integrated into all my galleries so printing your photographs is super easy.

Will you cry at our wedding?

Probably, I’m a hopeless romantic!
